Secondary School Projects
WAK Educate can deliver the NOCN, NCFE and BTEC qualifications for Secondary School students. To date, we have achieved a 100% pass rate with different groups of children from around the Yorkshire region. And with several students winning national and regional awards after taking part in our courses, we believe this reflects the high quality of our teaching.
Sunderland Academy
WAK Educate worked with a Secondary School in Sunderland who where preparing to move into a new academy. We produced storyboards with the students before compiling the short animation. It was ultimately used as a marketing promo on school's TV system.
Don Valley School
With funding from Doncaster Council WAK Educate went into several schools, including Don Valley School, to demonstrate Autodesk Maya software. Students were educated in potential career pathways in Animation and we proceeded to deliver a 2 day workshop where the students learned to model, texture, keyframe and render in 3D.
CLC Winterhill
Freddie the Frog was brought to life during a 3 day NOCN Level 1 course in Maya Animation at CLC Winterhill. A group of young learners were taught basic modelling, texturing, rendering, lighting and keyframing.
Hatfield School
WAK Educate delivered a 2 day course in Autodesk Maya to a group of Hatfield Visual Arts School students. They decided to animate their school logo in 3D for the school's website.
